I started this business with only two other directors.
With a strong determination “to become a company with the most advanced technology in the world,” I founded Micro-tec in 1989. We developed a “low-pressure printing process” optimizing screen printing specifications and paste rheology, and manufacture and sell printers that realize this process. We have visited exhibitions held all over the world, collected a variety of information, and responded to requests for improvements and new proposals or ideas from people. I feel so excited each time I hear our customers saying, “Micro-tec can help us.” I can still recall our early days when we committed ourselves to delivering products exceeding customers’ expectations. The products we fabricated day and night enjoyed a growing reputation and earned us not only domestic, but also overseas customers.
With the popularization of cellular phones, the proliferation of plasma TVs, and increasing attention to solar cells, needs for screen printing have recently been rapidly rising in the fields using “high-accuracy screening” technology. I am sometimes asked, “Did you foresee that such an age would come?” However, our goals were never to envisage the future or achieve advanced marketing; they were to value our relationship with the customers we meet today, keep promises, and manufacture products that would have customers say, “We are glad we did business with you,” while adhering stubbornly to the will to bring Micro-tec a company to the forefront of world technology. “Once-in-a-lifetime” opportunities have led to a series of encounters, and today we do business with global enterprises creating a market for the next generation. Thanks to constant orders from leading domestic and overseas companies, our sales for the last ten years have almost doubled, and we have maintained a surplus since the foundation of our company.
“High-accuracy screen printing” is a technology only a few companies in the world possess. We have as many as 36 patents. Our line of products ranges from electronic parts to solar cells, fuel cells, FPCs and PDPs/LDCs, all of which are indispensable for progress in cutting-edge electronics. We plan to continue concentrating all energies on going one step ahead in the development of technology and to seek for a technical tie-up with companies in Europe, the U.S., China, etc. and for production in overseas countries.
